The ironing of the reinforced concrete can cause a lot of damage in the concrete structure, however its role is to reinforce the structure. When the reinforced concrete has been made then the ironing must be set to 1 – 1.5 inches deep from the external surface for the best achievement. Slowly but surely the best watertight concrete too let some moisture in to the structure what can penetrate through the “shell” about 0.5 inch deep. If this moisture cannot reach the ironing then the reinforced concrete can function for a long long time. However this common issue ignored in a lot of cases what leads to the unwanted expensive repair projects.
